LIVE BRIEF WINNER
The brief for this project was to
design a series of soft drink cans for 
The Artisan Drinks Co. within the 
following guidlines: logo stays the same and is 
featured on the can, artwork is kept within the 
designated space, signature stripes must 
remain around the can.



INSIGHT
Artisan Drinks (see original brand linked in brief) did not feature clear artisans on their cans.
They could have been artisans, but if they were then it was not obvious.

Artisans can be much more than your average painter. Anybody who possesses 
great talent in their field is considered an artisan.

There’s certain equipment which makes somebody truly become their role. Regardless of physical
features, putting on a heavy amount of PPE or a uniform convinces observers that
this person is well trained in their profession.


SOLUTION
A series of quirky, yet minimal, character illustrations which represent the artisans - combined 
with their flavour - putting the people on the can and representing The Artisans themselves. 

This concept is great because it can be expanded for new 
flavours, with a large supply of artisans to draw inspiration from.
